HTA Looking to Support Programs in 2013 through its Product Enrichment Program

Earlier this month, the HTA released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for its Product Enrichment Program (PEP). The PEP was established to support community-based programs that enhance visitor and resident experiences and create opportunities for economic development, natural resource preservation and perpetuation of the Hawaiian culture.

“We are proud to support events and programs under the Product Enrichment Program,” said Mike McCartney, president and CEO of the HTA. “These programs and events are part of what make our Hawaiian Islands so special – they help to sustain our beautiful natural resources, support our host culture, and highlight our unique multi-cultural history, while drawing residents and visitors to experience our one-of-a-kind destination.”

Included in the HTA’s Product Enrichment Program are the Community-Based Natural Resources Program, Kukulu Ola: Living Hawaiian Culture Program and County Product Enrichment Program.

Beginning Oct. 1, applications are available for pick-up at the HTA’s office (1801 Kalkaua Avenue, Level 1), the appropriate county offices below, or downloadable here. Written proposals are due Nov. 5, 2012.
