2010 Annual Visitor Research Report Now Available

The HTA’s Tourism Research division provides statistical and analytical information and conducts research on Hawaii’s visitor industry to enable and empower stakeholders to make informed decisions in support of our tourism economy. Among the relevant daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports produced, is the HTA’s 2010 Annual Visitor Research Report. This report presents the final detailed statistics on Hawaii’s visitor industry performance in 2010, as well as a comprehensive comparison with 2009 visitor data. Included are visitor characteristics and expenditures categorized by major market areas, detailed spending categories broken down by major market areas and island, a profile of Hawaii’s cruise visitors and spending characteristics, visitor room inventory, hotel occupancy and room rates, and air seat capacity.
