HTA Supports More than 100 Community and Cultural Programs and Events

The HTA, in partnership with Hawaii’s four counties, announced the selection of more than 100 events and projects to receive support through the HTA’s County Product Enrichment Program (CPEP). CPEP was created in 2002 as a partnership between the HTA and the counties of Hawai‘i. Through the program, the counties receive HTA funding for community-based activities, and provide administrative support and technical assistance to the community and industry partners.

Community festivals, events and projects that are awarded funding help to provide a statewide, year-round calendar of experiences for visitors and residents. These private-public partnerships celebrate Hawaii’s diversity, featuring multi-ethnic culture, foods and agricultural activities, natural attractions, health and wellness programs, and science and technology assets, while also yielding economic and social benefits.
