HIFF 33, A Celebration of Hawaii's Rich Culture on the Silver Screen

Filmmakers, movie critics and fans are anxiously looking forward to the 2013 Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF) that opens today. From Oct. 10-20, enjoy screenings of feature films, documentaries and film shorts at various venues throughout the state including the Honolulu Museum of Art Doris Duke Theatre, Sunset on the Beach – Waikiki Beach, Waimea Theatre on Kauai and Palace Theatre on Hawaii Island. 
The HTA is proud to support this annual event that continues to attract new and repeat visitors year after year. HIFF is recognized internationally as the leading film festival promoting cultural advancement in the Pacific Rim. Event organizers have been praised for their ability to find content that accurately represents Asian, Pacific and Hawaii cultures and have brought them to an audience of more than 950,000 since the event launched in 1981.
