HTA Announces Ahamele Concert Lineup for November

Next month, the HTA will be hosting two free concerts as part of its 2014 Ahamele: Monthly Hawaiian Music Series on Hawaii Island and Oahu. 
On Saturday, Nov. 1 visitors and residents can enjoy and experience musical and hula performances at the Queen’s Marketplace in Waikoloa. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. and continue through 8:30 p.m. and include performances by Mark Yamanaka, Hula Halau Na Lei O Kaholoku, The Lim Family and Marlene Sai. Another concert will be held on Oahu the following weekend at Iolani Palace. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, attendees will be entertained by the musical stylings of the Peter Apo Band, Pineapple Squeeze, Lehua Kalima, Sean Pimental and Palani Vaughn. The HTA established the Ahamele: Monthly Hawaiian Music Series to provide visitors and residents with an opportunity to experience first-hand what makes Hawai‘i such a unique destination. A final concert will be held in December, with details to follow.
